There is a meter called Drive you can use to rekka specials for combos, there’s also a thing like this you can use to do special into super, it has an install type mode called HyperDrive mode that allows you to cancel all normals into specials and you can also do unlimited Drive cancels in this mode (apparently other KOF have something like this called Max Mode?).Ĭharacter designs and move sets are really awesome and it definitely is not simplified. The movement is insane - you can roll, short hop, super short hop, super jump, run and back dash and it all feels smooth as butter. This game is everything I could want in an FG. I’ve never played a KOF game so I thought why not give it a go. I’ve always thought the graphics looked really good in it, combos look cool from the clips I see. So I’ve been scrolling through Twitter a lot and one thing I always see on my feed is KOF XIII combo clips.
I’ve played almost every franchise and I play in locals but I had totally lost motivation. I haven’t been very motivated to play FGs lately.
